The Challenge

Creating social media content in the Senator's voice for official committee communications, translating complex policy discussions into accessible posts.

Being a Press Intern for this committee gave me hands-on experience putting together daily environmental news clips, observing campaign creation, and getting behind-the-scenes access to committee prep. Most significantly, I drafted content in the Senator's voice, like some of these tweets, learning to distill complex environmental policy into clear, engaging messaging.

The Opportunity

Collaborated with Georgetown's McCourt Communications Team to create authentic Instagram Reels showcasing student life, campus events, and university culture.

The Approach

With over a decade in customer service, I’ve always valued the sense of community that great teams create — and Dacha Beer Garden is a perfect example. If you’ve been, you know how fun it is to be there; working there is just as joyful.

Alongside my role, I contributed to Dacha’s social media by creating content that captured its authentic energy — from highlighting seasonal food and drink specials to making reels that celebrated the people and moments that make the space special.
